Globaly Warming on Vacation?

Ok, so it snowed pretty much all day on Friday, with basically just a dusting at our house...This is weird because it normally doesn't snow in late March around these parts.

But then Saturday night (March 29th), we were coming back from dinner in Woodinville, and it was raining about 7:30, but turned to mix just outside town. Within 5 minutes, it was solid snow - big heavy flakes. In another 5 minutes, and just moments from home, it was clearly sticking to everything, including the roads. The temp dropped from 39 to 32 in about 10 minutes / 5 miles of driving. Within 2 and a half hours, we had 4 inches of snow on our back deck, and had alreadly lost an apple tree due to the weight of the heavy, sticky snow.




Just 2 days before April, and we are pretty much burried in snow (ok, for these parts 4-5 inches is a lot of snow, any time of the year!). So tomorrow is opening day for the Seattle Mariners. Spring is in the air, but winter is on the ground...Here is my kid's play set - not exactly ready for "opening day".

First Post...A Simple Introduction

Ok, So I have to get the first one under my belt. Nothing witty, nothing deep, meaningful, or even entertaining. Simply an introduction on my new blog.

I'm a family man who loves music, outdoors and god. Looking to spend more time with all of them. Yet here I type on my laptop...ironic isn't it? So outside spending time with loved ones & trying to further my relationship with Jesus Christ...I need to ramble. My wife tires of my...well, rambles. So I plan to sound off from time to time here. I'll also post songs I have written, pictures I take, and of course links to things I find interesting.

Alright...enough for a first post.
